The standard terms and conditions of sale set forth below define the terms and conditions applicable to all purchases made via the e-commerce website www.juliesion.com (hereinafter referred to as “the seller”) by its client (hereinafter referred to as "the purchaser"). Any order placed via the website www.juliesion.com accordingly implies the purchaser’s unreserved acceptance of these standard terms and conditions of sale. The seller reserves the right to modify its standard terms and conditions of sale at any time. In this case, the terms and conditions applicable will be those in force at the date on which the purchaser placed their order.
Prices: The prices for products sold are those in force on the day on which the order was accepted. They are stated in euros. They do not include delivery costs, which are invoiced in addition to the price of the items bought. The delivery costs will be indicated before the purchaser registers their order. The seller reserves the right to modify its prices at any time. However, it undertakes to invoice the client for the goods ordered at the price indicated when the order was registered.
The acceptance of orders: The information provided by the purchaser at the time of acceptance of the order is binding on it. In the case of error in the section concerning the addressee’s contact details, the seller cannot be held liable if it is unable to deliver the product ordered. Orders are only definitive once they have been confirmed by the purchaser’s payment of the price.
Payment methods: Orders may be paid for either by credit card via a secure payment system or by means of a voucher. Following registration of the order, the purchaser must pay the amount of the order in full; the order will only be despatched on receipt and validation of the corresponding payment. If payment has not been received within 10 days of registration of the order, the seller reserves the right to cancel the order.
Late payment: The seller reserves the right to cancel an order placed by any purchaser with whom there is an outstanding dispute concerning a previous payment.
Delivery: Delivery will be carried out by Colissimo International in light of the weight and size of the item ordered, to the place indicated by the purchaser on the order form. The delivery timeframe is estimated at 15 days at the latest as from receipt of payment. No reasonable delay in delivery of the products will entitle the purchaser to receive damages, nor will it justify cancellation of the order. Transport risks will be borne in their entirety by the purchaser. In the event of missing goods or if goods have been damaged during transport, the purchaser must state the necessary reservations on the delivery slip at the time of receiving the goods in question. These reservations must also be forwarded by email within five days of the delivery to the following address: email@example.com.
Electronic signature: In accordance with the act of 13 March 2000 concerning electronic signatures, any order form signed by the purchaser by means of a “double click” will constitute irrevocable acceptance which can only be called into question in the limitative case provided for in these standard terms and conditions of sale as the “right of withdrawal”. The “double click” associated with the authentication and non-withdrawal procedure and the protection of the integrity of messages constitutes an electronic signature. This electronic signature has the same value between the parties as a handwritten signature.
Responsibilities: The seller cannot be held liable in the event of failure to fulfil one of its obligations as described in these standard terms and conditions of sale, or delay in the performance of any of its obligations, where this is due to a case of force majeure. In this regard, force majeure means any event that is external, unforeseeable and insurmountable within the meaning of Article 1148 of the French Civil Code. Likewise, the seller cannot be held liable in the event of disruption of the postal service or a total or partial strike on the part of post office workers.
Right of withdrawal: In accordance with Article L. 121-16 of the French Consumer Code concerning distance selling operations, the purchaser has a period of seven days as from the delivery of their order in which to return the product to the seller with a view to exchange or reimbursement without penalties, apart from being obliged to pay the cost of returning the product.
